There will be a casting read-through of the four short plays chosen for our July Festival, on Sunday 10 April, at 5pm, at the theatre. This is a rare opportunity to get involved in something exciting and different.

The plays have made it through to the Festival, as finalists in our Play Write! 2020, new writing competition. They are all half an hour or less, original writing, and never previously published or performed.

We will be reading each of the four plays at this initial read-through, which will give people a chance to listen to them for the first time, to see which parts are suitable and which they might want to play.

The Festival, which has been postponed twice, will now take place, over three nights, from Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 July 2022. The programme will feature all four short plays, making for a varied evening’s entertainment.

Please note the revised start time for the audition, which is now 5pm, on Sunday 10 April.
