We have relaunched the Hebden Bridge Little Theatre website to make it more informative and attractive, and more adaptable to our needs. Have a look round! We welcome your comments, which you can post to the site. If you like to use social media you can also share Little Theatre stories to Facebook and Twitter.
The new website has an Archive section, which will develop as time goes on. We will be celebrating our centenary in eight short years, and we want to reflect the long and rich history of the theatre, going all the way back to the theatre’s inception in 1924. We have already collected some fascinating items, and we intend to publish these on the website from time to time.

Former members met for a reunion at the theatre, on 21 May, and brought their mementoes and memories of more than seven decades of Little Theatre plays. Frank Woolrych and Anne Kilbey, from Pennine Horizons Digital Archive, attended, and gave a slide show of early productions. They also used the occasion to digitally scan scores of old photographs brought in, so they will be preserved for posterity. Home-made cakes and refreshments were provided to make our guests welcome, and everyone agreed that the event was both enjoyable and productive, with a good start made to creating a theatre archive.
