Using live music, text , movement, and percussive step dance I tell my story of how through Finding Folk I was able to escape the downfall of my parents and my own mental health.
Dealing with death, meeting true love in a bar and overcoming struggle, this story speaks to us all.
Folk is the music and dance of the working class people,
The travellers,
The ones who had to escape struggle,
I can feel it and I carry it with me always.
