An Evening of Christmas Entertainment

December 14th

To complete a wonderful Centenary Year, we are reviving our ever popular Christmas Concert. A nostalgic look back at the eccentricities of past seasonal variety shows will be performed on Saturday December 14th at 7.30 pm.

There will be music from the 1920s played by Chris Irvine’s little orchestra, songs and solo instrumental pieces given by members more often seen acting on stage. Two of Jenny Gore’s quirky sketches featuring single letters of the alphabet will be performed again, and another sketch by Chris Berry will enjoy its premiere to bring the centenary up to the present time. Marvellous magic will be seen amongst all the other acts, to delight and mystify you, and stories and poems will be included amongst the events.

Free Christmas refreshments for all will be available during the interval, and the bar will be open throughout.

This cornucopia of delight can be obtained for the price of £5 at the door, with no reserved seats, so it’s first come, first served.

Doors open at 7pm.

Don’t miss it!
