Social Play Reading Group

Following a very successful meeting in September, which focused on Maddie Cullinane’s entry to our play writing competition, the social play reading group has decided to spotlight two more entries by local writers, at its next meeting, on Wednesday, 10 October: Once Upon a Happy Ever After, by Andy Fraser, and The Fabergé Egg, by Chris Berry. 

Andy is very active in creative writing circles, and leads a writing group in Todmorden. Chris has extended his half hour play to fifty minutes, since entering it in the competition, and is tremendously excited to see how the play will be received.

Once Upon a Happy Ever After has four characters: two men and two women in their late 20’s /early 30’s. The Fabergé Egg has five characters: three women and two men. Come along and participate. We’d like to hear what you think!
