A woman, A banjo, and an arm chair.

Using live music, text , movement, and percussive step dance I tell my story of how through Finding Folk I was able to escape the downfall of my parents and my own mental health.

Dealing with death, meeting true love in a bar and overcoming struggle, this story speaks to us all.

Folk is the music and dance of the working class people,

The travellers,
The ones who had to escape struggle,
I can feel it and I carry it with me always.

Start time 7.30pm

Advance tickets £7 / £9 on the door

There will be post-show discussion in the theatre, followed by a folk session in the bar. Bring an instrument, if you would like to join in!
