Annapurna Indian Dance proudly presents ‘Diwali – Indian Festival of Lights’, an afternoon of dance, at the Little Theatre, on 22 October, 4.30-6.30 pm. Described as ‘a passionate celebration of the colours and splendour of India’s rich cultural heritage’. This vibrant celebration features graceful traditional dances and stories, and a unique performance known as ‘Morris Natyam’, which combines the traditional dances of South India with English Morris Dancing!
Entry is free but you need to reserve your seats by emailing info@annapurnadance.com, as the theatre has limited seating. Food tickets, costing £7 for adults and teenagers, and £3 for children, includes hot vegetarian Indian food cooked by chef Vinod of Hebden Bridge.
